Order the card

Customers can order a card directly from their app. They have several options to choose from and can select the one that best suits their spending habits.

Card delivery

Once ordered, the card is shipped from France to the postal address provided at the time of ordering.

International delivery of the card is only available to countries compatible with Sumeria. Delivery takes a maximum of 15 business days.

Most of our deliveries in France have a tracking number. Customers can track their delivery from the Card list screen in the app.

In the meantime, the customer can already add the card on their smartphone to start paying with it solely via Google Pay, Samsung Pay or Apple Pay. The card cannot be used via another payment method until it has been delivered and activated by the customer. To know how to add the card click here.

If the above deadlines are exceeded, or if the customer notices a problem with the tracking of their delivery, they can contact our customer service department.

Once the order has been placed, it is no longer possible to change the delivery address.

Lydia Solutions shall not be held liable for any delays or failure to deliver resulting from an incomplete or incorrect address, or from any postal incident beyond its control.

Activation and configuration

Activate the card

To activate the card and link it to their account, customers must enter the ten digits on the back of the card after the word “TOKEN” in the app.

Once activated, the customer will be able to update the PIN code of the card.

PIN code

The four-digit card code will be displayed in the card settings. Customers can view and change it at any time from the app. If customers decide to change their PIN, they will need to go to an ATM and make a withdrawal to validate the PIN update. Learn more.

To ensure the security of the card, the PIN code must never be disclosed to a third party.

Particularity: default configuration of the card

By default, the “Online Payments” and “Contactless Payments” features are disabled. Customers can manage these settings from their card screen in the app.

To make secure online purchases, we recommend using temporary Virtual Cards.

To make contactless payments, we recommend using Apple Pay or Google Pay: this payment method has no spending limits and is secure (subject to compatible terminal). Learn more.

The activation of these features is at the customer’s sole discretion through the application.

Eligibility requirements

In order to use a card, customers must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Have their identity verified;
  • Have a phone number compatible with the use of payment cards;
  • Accept the terms and conditions of use for the services associated with the card;
  • Fund the account linked to their card : no overdraft is authorized on the account linked to the card. Payments and withdrawals are carried out only within the limit of the available balance.
    Sumeria reserves the right to suspend or refuse the issuance or use of a card in the event of non-compliance with contractual or legal obligations, abnormal use, or risk of fraud.
