The card is fully controllable and configurable from the application. From the screen of the card in question, the customer will have access to its settings.

Card blockage

In case of loss or theft of the card, the customer can temporarily block their card from their mobile app or computer. This operation is free, reversible, and unlimited.

The customer can also choose to destroy their card. In this case, they will not be able to reactivate it.

In the event of loss, theft, or fraudulent use, the customer can block their card directly from the app. If they are unable to access it, they must inform customer support without delay and request that their card be blocked or placed on opposition by sending an email to contact@sumeria.eu or by contacting our Live Chat, available 24/7.

Card options

Depending on the card type the customer can configure certain options :

For online payment proceeded via Google Pay, Apple Pay or Samsung pay the payment abroad and online payment options aren't required.

We recommend customers to use virtual cards for secure online purchases. They allow online or contactless payments but not cash withdrawals from ATMs. Some merchants (airlines, hotels, car rental companies, etc.) still require the physical card used for the payment to be presented.

Card limits

The customer can set their own daily, weekly, and monthly payment limits as well as their withdrawal limits in real time from the app or from their computer.

PIN code (physical card only)

The customer can view and change the PIN code for their card.

For security reasons, the PIN code must not be disclosed to any third party and must not be stored or written on or near the card.

Card replacement

If the customer's card expires, they can obtain a new one for free. The renewal of a card that has reached its expiration date is carried out free of charge.

However, any request for a replacement due to loss or theft will result in a charge to the customer, in accordance with the terms set out in the “Fees and Limits” appendix.
