Sumeria offers services that make everyday life easier: Paying with a mobile in stores, organising money pots with a phone, opening shared accounts and withdrawing money overseas without foreign exchange fees. Sumeria also allows sending money to someone only using their phone number.
To take advantage of all these features, the customer must first download the application and open an account.
Step 1: install the app
Before creating an account, customer must install the Sumeria app on the device first. To do so, he simply goes to:
- App Store for Apple phones (iPhone)
- Play Store for Android phones.
Step 2: creating an account
To open an account, the customer launches the application on his phone and follows the instructions.
Biometry
When opening an account, the customer is invited to configure biometrics. This is the quickest and easiest way to authenticate in the application. If the customer refuses, he can define a security code. This 4-digit code will be requested before each payment from Sumeria.
Identity verification
Finally, the customer must have his identity verified in order to finalise his registration. This is a legal requirement. The customer will need to have a proof of identity and be able to film his face in order to take a video selfie.
Once identity verification has been completed, the customer can access the Sumeria account.
Special situations and error messages
