Sumeria offers several solutions to develop good savings habits, plan ahead for future projects, and easily save money.
Project accounts
Project accounts aim to help customers save money on a daily basis to carry out projects that motivate them. These accounts can be used to plan specific expenses ahead and guide customers to better manage their finances by developing new saving habits.
These accounts can be creating by tapping "Create an account" at the top of the home screen, then choosing "Project account". Customers can then associate a name to their account and a specific target that will be tracked with a gauge.
To credit an account, the money can come from their main Sumeria balance or from an external account with an instant wire transfer directly on the account's IBAN.
Rounding up to the nearest euro
Rounding up to the nearest euro allows customers to automatically save the remaining cents between the price they paid and the nearest euro. For example, for an expense of €2.35, €0.65 will be transferred to the savings account. Rounding up to the nearest euro applies to all transactions made by card, whether physical or virtual.
To activate it, customers must navigate to "Access the Sumeria+ centre" and then to "Assisted savings tools" in-app. At the end of the month, during the allocation of their monthly earnings, customers can see the amount they collected thanks to the cents they saved during each of their transactions.
Preset wire transfer
During signup, customers are asked to implement a recurring transfer. At the date of their choice, customers receive a notification on their application asking them to validate a transfer of €X from one of their Sumeria accounts to their cash reserve. They can change the date and the amount of the recurring transfer at any time from their Sumeria+ centre.
Assisted savings game
Assisted savings games are a great way to save up in a simple and fun way. Customers who enable the games from their in-app Sumeria+ Centre will receive a weekly notification prompting them to play the game.
