Transfers sent from the application are instant and free for all clients.
If instant reception is not possible, it will be done in the standard way. In this case, the maximum legal processing time for a SEPA transfer is one banking business day from its receipt by the sending bank (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Whether instant or standard, the transfer will be visible and credited to the client’s account as soon as it is received by Sumeria.
Conditions for a transfer to be received instantly
In certain cases, or under certain conditions, bank transfers must necessarily be received in the standard way:
- If the sending bank is not compatible with instant payment technology. For more information, the client can consult the bank’s website or contact the bank ;
- If the interbank platform for processing instant payment flows is temporarily out of service or under maintenance ;
- If the recipient’s profile requires analysis for banking security reasons (anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations) ;
- If the client chooses not to pay any potential fees to their bank at the time of initiating the transfer.
Obtaining confirmation of the instant processing of a transfer
If the client activates notifications, they will be informed of the receipt of the transfer a few seconds after initiating it, (subject to effective validation by the SEPA Instant interbank systems).
