Security
When adding a Samsung Pay card from the "Cards" screen of the app, the customer is already authenticated. Therefore, they do not need to enter the sixteen-digit card number or the security code into Samsung Pay.
A Samsung Pay transaction is authenticated and secured via the customer's fingerprint/ biometric authentication or a security code. Payment information is encrypted.
Confidentiality
Banking information is not stored on the customer's device and is not shared with Samsung, even at the time of payment. Only an encrypted digital card identifier, generated from the card, is stored in Samsung Pay. With each payment, this digital identifier is transmitted instead of the card numbers.
For an optimal experience, we display the data of the latest transactions made with the card via Samsung Pay. By default, the customer also receives a Samsung Pay notification for every payment. These notifications can be disabled to ensure alerts are only sent by Sumeria during a transaction.
