Once their personal details have been entered, customers are asked to make a bank transfer to fund their account. Provisioning the account is an essential step in completing the registration and enjoying all the services available in app.
How to fund the account?
Provisioning is made exclusively by bank transfer:
- The amount must not exceed €150.
- The transfer must be made from an external bank account belonging to the customer.
- The account details required to make the transfer (IBAN, BIC) will be displayed on the screen after the personal information have been entered.
Customers may cancel bank transfer and registration at any time directly from the application.
When will the money be available?
The funds will be visible and usable as soon as the registration process is finalised, i.e. after the customer's identity has been verified.
Depending on the transfer times of the issuing bank, it may take 2 to 3 working days for the transfer to be received by Sumeria.
Why is this step essential?
Provisioning allows customers to take full advantage of the services offered, such as card payments, the use of virtual cards, the interest-bearing account, setting up direct debits and even friend-to-friend payments.
