Sumeria may send various communications by email to its customers via verified email addresses.

As e-mail is not a secure communication channel, and is increasingly considered to be untimely, Sumeria is using this method less and less, replacing it with in-app messaging. Customers who receive e-mails from Sumeria must therefore be in a special situation, and are asked to be vigilant.

Domains used for e-mail addresses

  • sumeria.eu (and its sub-domains, such as info.sumeria.eu)
  • isbs.eu (and its sub-domains, such as info.isbs.eu)
As part of the change of name from Lydia to Sumeria for banking services, it is possible that during a transition phase the domain lydia-app.com and its sub-domains may still be used.

The customer must ignore or report any e-mail received from another domain that purports to be Sumeria.

Unwanted emails

Customers can't opt out of receiving certain communications, as they are mandatory. These include, for instance, contractual messages (which require a durable medium), regulatory (product information, updated terms and conditions) or security (authentication, identity verification, login alerts, etc.).

Commercial communications (offers, new products, product information) are sent only after the customer's explicit consent and may be discontinued at any time. Customers can choose which types they wish to receive, and how they want to receive them, directly from the "Preferences" screen.
