Sumeria is obliged to use a valid document to verify the identity of its customers.

Prohibition on accepting expired documents

Sumeria is prohibited by law from accepting an expired document. If the customer no longer has a valid ID, it will be necessary to wait until a new one is obtained.

Validity extensions

French national identity cards (CNI) are in some cases valid for 5 years after the displayed expiry date. Sumeria takes this extension into account.

The card is not eligible for extension if:

• The cardholder was a minor at the time of issue
• The card had already expired on 01/01/2014.
