The customer can close their account at any time from the application or by email (subject to the absence of any pending transactions, and a zero balance).

This action is irreversible. The customer will lose access to their data.

From the application

The customer can close their account directly from the " Security and privacy " screen in the " Preferences " of their application.

In the event of a credit balance, the customer will need to provide an IBAN in their name for the refund transfer.

By email

The customer can make a request to our customer service department by sending an email to contact@sumeria.eu , specifying:

  • his name and surname;
  • the phone number associated with his account;
  • the reason for the account closure.

The request must be sent from the email address linked to the account. If there is a credit balance, the customer must provide an IBAN in their name for the refund transfer.

If the customer subsequently wishes to open a new account, they will be asked to verify their identity. Learn more about identity verification.
