The customer can close their account at any time via the application or by email. This action is irreversible: the customer will lose access to the application and their data.
The customer has the option to choose between two closure options: total closure of their Lydia Solutions account or specific termination of their Sumeria banking services.
Closing your Lydia Solutions account (Lydia and Sumeria)
This option results in the permanent termination of all services provided by Lydia Solutions. The customer will no longer have access to either the Lydia or Sumeria applications.
Via the application
The customer can close their account from the " Me " screen, then in " Preferences " via the " Security and privacy " menu.

By email
The customer can make this request by writing to contact@sumeria.eu from the email address linked to their account.
Cancel Sumeria services only (maintain access to Lydia)
The customer can request to terminate their Sumeria banking services while retaining access to their Lydia account (to continue using reimbursements between relatives or group funds).
The closure of Sumeria banking services will result in the permanent removal of:
- Sumeria accounts and sub-accounts;
- Sumeria IBANs;
- Direct debit mandates;
- Payment cards;
- The investment account;
- Sumeria transaction history.
Via the application
The customer can initiate the process from the " Me " screen, then in " Preferences " via the " Security and Privacy " menu. When asked by the virtual assistant, the customer must indicate that they wish to keep only Lydia .

By email
The customer can send their request to customer service at contact@sumeria.eu , from the email address linked to their account.
Things to know before closing
Before taking any action, the client must ensure that:
The balance is zero: all accounts must show €0. The customer can transfer their remaining funds to an external account before confirming the closure.
Statements are available for download: the customer can download their statements from the application. Once the account closure is complete, these documents will no longer be accessible.
