Incoming transfer on a IBAN
Incoming transfers are entirely free for customers.
If the issuing bank's currency is the Euro (€) and part of the SEPA zone, no fees will be charged for an incoming transfer to one of the customer’s accounts.
If a banking institution sends a transfer to the customer’s IBAN in a currency other than the euro (€), without conversion, or if the transfer is not issued in SEPA format, the transfer will not be processed and will be returned to the sending bank, which may apply fees.
Example:
- A transfer in euros sent from a French, Spanish, or Italian account will be credited without fees.
- A transfer in pounds sterling or Swiss francs will be automatically rejected.
Outgoing transfer from a Lydia account
Transfers made from the customer’s account are free and instant: when the recipient bank is compatible with SEPA Instant. If this is not the case, the transfer will be processed in standard SEPA format and the amount will generally be credited to the beneficiary account the next business day (excluding weekends and public holidays).
